Gymnast Club suggested

SALTNEY Gymnastics Club has been nominated for the Scottish Power/Trinity Mirror Cheshire Your Champions Awards.

The group which is voluntary and self financed has helped many young gymnasts compete at a top national and international level.

The group plays a vital role in the community by giving youngsters confidence and ability in an Olympic sport well represented by Great Britain.

Suzanne Tatler who runs the club explained: “At Saltney Gym Club we age from 3 to 33. All our boys and girls training very hard. Some train a huge amount of hours so that they can go to competitions in Great Britain and abroad.

“We have just come back from Poland and got a second and third against top gymnasts. All self funded they need to be recognised for all their hard work.”
