A CHESHIRE company is hoping success is sweet after launching a new brand of yogurts.
Daisy Fresh Foods, based in Tattenhall, have launched Yess yogurts, using milk from Cheshire cows.
Yogurt gurus Martin Farrell and Wayne Wheildon, co-owners of Daisy Fresh, gave up senior positions at Nestle Ski to chase their dream of producing the best yogurt on the market.
They took the plunge in March 2007 and found their ideal site.
Martin said: “We are over the moon with our final product and can’t wait for people to enjoy it! It has been very difficult giving up a full-time wage and starting from scratch but there is no better feeling than seeing the finished product ready for sale.”
After months of product development the first production run of Yess yogurts is scheduled for the first week of September and the product should be on sale soon.
Daisy Fresh is part of Made in Cheshire, which aims to help Cheshire producers develop and promote their businesses.
