Festival fever grips music fans

DANCE music festival Creamfields was attended by more than 65,000 people last weekend in Daresbury.

The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary as rock band Kasabian brought the curtain down on the final night, following acts including Fatboy Slim, Paul van Dyk and Eric Prydz over the two days.

James Barton, Cream chief executive, said: “We are really happy with the success of the festival this weekend. There were some delays getting customers into the campsite and we apologised for that, but we have had a really good festival.”
