Chester family stages cycle ride for Nepal mercy mission

A FAMILY from Chester went the extra mile to help those less fortunate.

Kathy Mordue, Jade Anson, John Cole, Adele Cross, George Mordue and Jenny Leigh-Smith cycled to Paris to raise £1000 so that Adele can go to Nepal to work with impoverished children.

Jenny, from Kings Crescent West, Great Boughton, said:

“It was tough but a wonderful experience - we started cycling on Monday and managed to ride up the Champs-Élysées by midday on Friday.

“We have managed to raise £800 so far - all we need is a final push, and perhaps scrape togehter a few more sponsors, to reach our target!”

Donations can still be made on www.everythingevolves.co.uk/rideadele.
