Bickerton art show proves a success

AN EXHIBITION of work some of the finest local artists is proving a big hit at Bickerton Village Hall.

A mixture of new and established artists from Cheshire, Shropshire and Wirral have been given the opportunity to show their work to those with a keen art eye.

Some of the artists whose work is currently hanging on the village hall’s walls have attended the exhibition, chatting to visitors and painting more masterpieces at the event.

Organiser Ann Boxall said: “We opened on Saturday (August 2), and it’s gone brilliantly so far. Up to now we’ve sold 52 pieces.”

The event has been organised by the Bickerton Village Hall Committee and is open from 11am until 7pm. It will end on Sunday, August 10.
