Woman hurt in city centre accident
A PEDESTRIAN was seriously injured after being involved in a collision with a car in the city centre today (Friday, August 1).
The middle-aged woman was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital after the incident involving a black BMW on St Oswald’s Way, at the junction with St Anne Street.
The road was closed off by five police cars from the Fountains roundabout down to the junction with St Anne’s Street at 11.38am on August 1. Victoria Road was also closed while investigating officers assessed the scene.
