Cheshire company combines horses and chocolate

A HOLIDAY company has combined the indulgent passions of horse riding and chocolate to attract tourists to rural Cheshire.

Tarporley-based Equestrian Escapes has launched a new package holiday, ‘Horses and Chocolates’, to broaden the Cheshire ‘getaway’ market out to non-horse riders.

Horse trekking routes Bishop Bennet’s Way and Delamere Loop have made way for new adventure holidays organised by Equestrian Escapes which specialises in horse holidays in the UK and Europe and Visit Chester and Cheshire.

Holidaymakers can choose bespoke itineraries which include horse riding, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation and day trips to tourist attractions including Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre, Chester Zoo, Go Ape in Delamere Forest and Beeston Castle.
