Anyone for polo?

A FARM shop hosted a day of chukkas and ‘pukka tukka’ to introduce people to the elegant sport of polo.

The Hollies Farm Shop at Little Budworth held The Hollies Farm Shop Polo Cup Final at the Cheshire Polo Club on Sunday.

Friends, customers and staff of The Hollies watched the tournament while enjoying delectable treats from the shop.

Polo is a free event to watch, open to the public and is an exciting sport all the family can enjoy.

Director of The Hollies, Philip Cowap, said: “We were delighted so many people came to join us for The Hollies Farm Shop Polo Cup Final. We hope we have introduced new people to the game of polo.”

Winners of the cup final were Bon Aventure. All the players taking part were presented with Hollies Farm Shop goodie bags.

The Hollies Farm Shop is holding food tastings by Inverawe Fish and The Olive Man will be back in store by popular demand tomorrow (Saturday).

Inverawe’s specialist smokehouse will be offering tastings of its fish and The Olive Man will be sharing his passion for olives with shoppers.
