AN ARMED police siege has resulted in multiple arrests after reports of a man brandishing a handgun.
The ongoing siege began on Lincoln Road, Blacon at 9.05am today (Wednesday, July 23).
Cheshire police spokesman Hans Sanders said: “At 9.05am, police went to Lincoln Road to a report of a man with a handgun.
“Police have attended and several people have been arrested from an address on suspicion of possession of a firearm and taken into custody.
“No arms have been recovered at the moment and no police or members of the public have been hurt.”
