Teacher climbs new peaks

Teacher climbs new peaks

A RETIRING schoolteacher has mountains to climb.

Keen skier Noreen Nickson is leaving Boughton St Paul’s Nursery and Infant School after 23 years.

She said: “There are mountains which I’ve not yet skied down!”

Children at the school, which will close permanently today, prepared a special assembly for Noreen which focused on all her hobbies.

As well as skiing she enjoys seaside holidays, cycling, playing golf and is a bell-ringer at Chester Cathedral.

Boughton St Paul’s School has been closed under Cheshire County Council’s Transforming Learning Communities programme.
