Sun smiled on Lions fun day
MALPAS Lions Club had fun in the sun.
Members organised a fun day at the village’s Red Lion pub to raise funds.
Landlady and Lion Liz Lever said: “We saw the sun which I wasn’t expecting!”
Visitors enjoyed activities for children, a tea tent, local produce and craft stalls, a barbecue, a prize draw, and live music.
There was also a beer festival which included 18 real ales, two ciders and a Pimms tent.
The event raised about £700 for the club which is a branch of the Whitchurch and District Lions.
