Dancers ready to step up to stage

IT’S show time for a Saughall dance company.

Dancers from The Roberts-Morgan School of Dance are in rehearsal for their latest show at the NEWI Theatre, Wrexham on July 17 and 18 at 7.30pm.

Children aged three-16 are preparing to perform numbers from The Lion King, High School Musical and The Nutcracker for Showtime, a presentation of styles from ballet to modern. The youngsters rehearse at the Vernon Institute in Saughall.

Sheila Thomas from the school said: “The parents have worked really hard to make all the costumes for the show and the mums are going to perform their own number this time round. They’re really quite good.”

Dancers from the school regularly attend special Royal Ballet School classes in both Birmingham and Manchester.

Tickets at £7.50 (£5 concessions) are available from Carol Wild on 01244 675564.
