Churches’ gift to stall workers

THREE Frodsham churches participated in a special act of recognition of hard-working market stallholders – delivering bacon butties.

A team of students and church members collected bacon rolls from the regular Hot Potato van in the market and delivered them to each stallholder.

They also gave a drink and a Mars bar and vegetarians had the offer of a filled baked potato instead.

Pastor Tim Coad said “We all appreciate what a hard-working lot of people market stallholders are and we wanted to say thank you to them.”

The event was part of a week of special events hosted by three Frodsham churches.

All five Frodsham churches are regularly involved in the Wellspring coffee bar, open from 9am-2pm every Thursday and is regularly packed out with market shoppers.
