Home Watch relaunch

TARPORLEY Home Watch is to be relaunched after a successful first meeting by the village PCSO.

PCSO Emily Benson, along with Cheshire Home watch manager Liz Biddle, invited residents from particular areas of the village to the meeting last Wednesday.

The aim was to set up small Home Watch areas and re-establish contact with the community.

On the night, Home Watch schemes were set up in Millfield Lane, The Close, High Street and Henry Street.

PCSO Benson said: “It is about communication, we want to set up a line of communication so we can get people to tell us about what is happening in their area.

“However minor you might think something is, we need to know because it will be part of a bigger picture.”
