ST Paul’s Church in Helsby hosts an art, craft and flower exhibition in the church hall and church over the weekend of June 27-29.
The event is to raise awareness of the gifts and talents of people in art and craft work and hopefully to encourage others to develop their own gifts and talents.
The art exhibition shows paintings in different mediums by local artists on the theme of the Fruits of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. The two local primary schools have each made a banner for the church and pupils from Horns Mill School will begin a series of musical interludes on Friday at 2pm. Refreshments will be available in a marquee on the Vicarage Lawn.
