Audi dealer sets up new showroom

A MOTOR dealers is relocating from Chester to Cheshire Oaks because it needs room to expand.

Chester Audi in Sealand Road is moving to a new purpose-built centre in August, located just off Junction 10 of the M53 motorway, next to Blue Planet Aquarium, in Ellesmere Port.

The flagship showroom will be known as Cheshire Oaks Audi.

There will be four times more parking space and two air conditioned customer lounges with wireless internet connection.

Workshop facilities will triple in size and parts stocks will more than double.

There will be an increased range of vehicles including ‘Audi Approved’ used and ex-demonstrator vehicles.

Jon Sutcliffe, head of business, said: “We have totally outgrown this site and that’s the main reason. We are more than doubling in size at the Cheshire Oaks site so it’s a big increase.

“The big problem is the site we are on at the moment is just under an acre and the site we are moving to is nearly three acres.

“It’s a problem finding that sort of land in Chester in a prime retail position. It’s quite difficult. Cheshire Oaks is seen as a good location with great motorway links.

“Whilst it’s not, Chester it’s close enough and is often more convenient for people in Chester than Sealand Road.”

Mr Sutcliffe said the showroom served customers in Chester and Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales.
