Bulls promotion is all the rage
FACING a stampede of visitors is all in a day’s work for organisers of the Cheshire County Show, which attracts up to 70,000 people.
But a pair of ‘raging bulls’ is an altogether different matter.
Executive director of the show Nigel Evans is no stranger to being surrounded by animals but found himself in a dilemma at a photo shoot.
Mr Evans had the choice of a powerful Mitsubishi ‘Raging Bull’ pick-up or a 15-month-old bull owned by the show’s vice chairman Alan Ford.
To celebrate Gallagher Mitsubishi’s fourth year of support for the show’s light horse section, Nigel decided to pose with the pick-up, which at least was firmly stopped on the handbrake, while Richard Ford drew the short straw and had his hands full with the bull.
