Chester police investigate rape claim in Blacon

POLICE are investigating an allegation of rape in Blacon, Chester.
A 17-year-old girl has told police she was walking down Saughall Road at 11.45pm on Tuesday, June 2 when the attack happened.
Crime scene investigators cordoned off two areas of woodland opposite Cranleigh Gardens this morning (Wednesday, June 3).
Police spokesperson Jacqui Hanson said the investigation was still “very much in its early stages”.
