Dead body found hanging from block of Chester flats

A DEAD body has been discovered hanging from the eighth floor of a block of flats near Chester city centre.
At 7.46am today (Saturday, May 31) police and firefighters were called to Thackeray Towers in Francis Street, Chester where a man's body had been reported hanging.
Crew manager Andy Spencer at Chester Fire Station said: “Crews assisted police in extricating a male who was hanging by a noose from the eighth floor.
“They attended with a fire and a hydraulic platform and extricated the individual.”
