CHESHIRE County Council's controversial Transforming Learning Communities review into closing schools hasn't gone far enough says a committee.

A new 75-page report estimates arround 1,600 places a year need to be removed from Cheshire schools by 2012 which equates to 800 places a year taken away from primary and secondary schools.
