A HORSE rider was flown to hospital with back injuries after she fell off.
The woman was riding in Primrose Wood in Delamere Forest on Saturday, May 17 when she was came off her horse.
Passers-by saw the accident and phoned the emergency services. Due to the location the Ambulance Service decided it was impractical to send an ambulance, and the Services’s yellow helicopter was called at 3.15pm.
Flying low over Morrison’s supermarket the air ambulance took the victim to the Countess of Chester Hospital. The Ambulance Service said her injuries were not serious.
