FAKE tan or a fortnight in Marbella was the closest most of us came to getting some summer glow last year – but shipwrecked Charlotte Lomax-Moore went one better.
Along with a bevvy of bikini-clad beauties, the tanned 23-year-old took part in Channel 4’s hit programme Shipwrecked, filmed on the sunkissed Cook Islands.
The series is currently on television and Charlotte, known on the programme as Lottie Moore, arrived at the end of last Sunday’s episode. She will now feature this weekend.
She said: “You do feel quite cleansed – no alcohol, fatty food or salt and pepper. I came back glowing.”
Charlotte, from Coniston Drive, Frodsham, spent two months on the paradise island. On top of this, the winning tribe gets £100,000.
Charlotte, who worked in Amore restaurant and also played her violin at Cheshire venues with the Frodsham Fiddlers and The Stress, said: “When you’re watching it at home you’re only seeing 40 minutes of a seven day week.
“It’s annoying because we’d do so much fun stuff but they pick a story line and that’s what they follow, like the argument between Jack and Tom.
“It’s interesting for me to watch it and see all the things that went on that I never saw.”
She currently does modelling for Nuts and Loaded magazines and works at Streetcar in London.
Lack of deodorant didn’t help romance and unfortunately for the guys on the island, Lottie has a long-term boyfriend, Barry Murray.
She said: “I didn’t fancy anyone there anyway. It’s like living with your dirty, smelly brothers!”
Charlotte, who went to Manor House Primary School before attending The Grange at Hartford and then Sir John Deane College in Northwich, cannot say much about what happens but confided: “There’s a big story line, very emotional, involving me. It’s definitely a bit of a finale!”
