Robber threatened Chester Racecourse barman with syringe

A BARMAN at Chester Racecourse was threatened with a syringe and robbed of £250 on Thursday, May 8.

At 5.56pm, a barman at the New Pavilion Becks Bar, in the Watergate Square area of the racecourse, was cashing up when a man threatened him with a syringe. The attacker escaped with £250 in cash.

The male is described as white, of medium build, 5’6’’ tall with short blonde spiky hair. He was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering, and black 3/4 length trousers.
