New man at the helm of your weekly Chronicle

A NEW managing director of The Chronicle has been appointed.

Warren Butcher takes over as managing director for Trinity Mirror Cheshire, North Wales and Huddersfield, publisher of our sister titles throughout Cheshire and also the Daily Post in Wales and Huddersfield Examiner evening newspaper.

Mr Butcher has held the post of regional advertisement director for Trinity Mirror North West since 2005 and brings a wealth of senior management experience to his new role.

His primary responsibilities will be the strategic direction of our existing print titles and our digital portfolio, including www.chesterchronicle.co.uk.

He will also be responsible for the development of new products and advertising services.

He said: “Having worked for Trinity Mirror for some 19 years in a variety of diverse and exciting commercial roles it is truly a priviIege to be appointed to the position of managing director of such a strong and influential range of print and online media brands.”
