GOOD Golly Miss Molly, you’re our Pet Star of 2007!

Today, The Chronicle can reveal that Staffordshire/border collie cross Molly is the winner of this year’s competition to find the best furry friend in the area.

The Chronicle and Water World in Burton, South Wirral, once again joined forces to carry out the hunt for the area’s bonniest pets.

And as the winner of our Pet Stars competition with the most votes, Molly will receive £200 of vouchers for owner Luci Jones of Chester to spend at Water World on Chester High Road in Burton.

The runner-up is Harvey, a six-month-old flat-coated retriever, owned by Pam Mark and Teri Sutton of Bickley, who will receive £100 of vouchers.

Third prize of £50 worth of vouchers goes to Ecru, a thoroughbred cross, owned by Laura Webster of Rowton, Chester.

The winners will be contacted soon to arrange the handover of their prizes.
