Abnormal load to be moved through Cheshire

DRIVERS are being advised that an electrical transformer is due to be moved from Ellesmere Port to Stafford.

The movement is being undertaken over a three day period to minimise the impact on other road users.

The journey will take place during off-peak daylight hours to ensure the safe passage of the load and safety to other road users. The load will be fully escorted by police.

The transformer will travel from Ellesmere Port Docks to Kelsall, Cheshire on Monday, May 12 at about 9.30am to arrive at approximately 1pm.

The second part of the movement will begin on Tuesday, May 13 from Kelsall to Browns Bank, Cheshire, at approximately at 9.30am to arrive at approximately 4pm.

The final part of the movement will commence from Browns Bank on Wednesday, May 14 at 9.30am and will arrive at Stafford at 2pm.
