Two 100 bed care home plans for same Cheshire village

TWO applications for 100 bed care home developments in Tarporley have been submitted to planning chiefs within a month.

Developer Osborne House submitted an outline planning application to the council last week to build a care home accommodating 100 residents and eight affordable houses on the Daffodil Field site in Tarporley. They also want to extend the car park behind The Rising Sun by a further 63 spaces.

This comes weeks after an application was made by GB Development Solutions Ltd for a 100 bed care home on the land at Heatherways, in Tarporley.

The issue is due to be discussed by Tarporley Parish Council at their meeting on Monday, May 12.
