A THIEF who tried to snatch a cash box from a security guard at Chester railway station was scared off by a passer-by on Wednesday, April 30.
British Transport Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the attempted “cash-in-transit” robbery at about 12.30pm on Wednesday.
The male suspect is described as slim, aged about 20-years-old, about 6ft tall with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue top.
