Three in court over Chester service station drugs haul

THREE men appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday, April 28 after police found a large quantity of drugs in a white van at Hapsford services.

Ian James Foster, 40, of Trawsfynydd, Patrick Harte, 22, of Penryndeudreath and Keith Rowlands, 42, of Caernarfon were charged with possession of cocaine and amphetamines and conspiracy to supply.

Police made the arrests after a motorist reported a white van driving erratically on the M56 on April 18.

Chester Recorder Elgan Edwards granted Harte bail on condition he resided at his home in Penryndeudreath.

Foster and Rowlands are to remain in custody.

All three are to appear in Chester Crown Court for a plea hearing on July 4.
