Yoga is the right medicine at club classes

A CHESTER homoeopath is branching out to teach yoga.

Angela Needham, of Hoole, is starting a dru yoga class at Cheshire County Sports Club in Plas Newton Lane at the end of the month.

Angela, 62, said: “Dru yoga is suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness and anyone, beginner or more experienced, is welcome to just turn up and give a session a try.

“Dru yoga uses the classical hatha yoga postures. Everyone can do the postures at their own level, including those with disabilities and health concerns.”

She added: “The energy block release sequences which are unique to dru yoga create some of the flow and grace which people may associate with tai chi. These sequences make dru yoga especially suitable for those who want to ameliorate back pain or overcome stress.”

Angela has practised yoga for 20 years and has recently completed a teaching course.

The first class will start on Monday, April 28, from 6-7.30pm for 10 weeks.
