A MAN attacked his wife twice on one day when they argued over her alleged infidelity, a court heard on Monday.
Jason Wilfred Turner, 35, of Saltney, admitted assaulting Laura Turner – once when he squeezed her throat and a second time when he pushed her into a bush.
At Flintshire Magistrates Court, Mold, the case against Jason Turner was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
The couple, who had been in a 14-year relationship and married for 12 years, were going through a divorce.
Prosecutor John Wylde said on the evening of January 30, an argument developed and he allegedly “flew at her” and grabbed her around the throat.
He squeezed before releasing her, and he then left.
A short time later they met on a street corner and he pushed her, she fell into some bushes and hit her head on the floor.
Defending, Steven Alis said Laura Turner wrote a statement confessing she had been in an adulterous relationship with another man, which was why they argued that night after both had been drinking, he said.
