Author tells tales to pupils
AN UNUSUAL author put the flesh and bones on his work when he talked to students at a rural high school.
Alan Durant, whose books range from novelty picture books to young adult fiction, writes for all ages from toddlers to teenagers including poetry for adults and children.
He spent time at Bishop Heber High, Malpas, including reading from his book Flesh and Bones which deals with foul deeds, murder and a centuries-old mystery.
Alan bases his writing, covering everything from fairies to football, on real life experiences and interests.
He visits primary and secondary schools in the UK and abroad.
