THE lifeblood of Cheshire’s smaller villages is being drained away as they are stripped of community services, a special Chronicle investigation has revealed.
Villages including Duddon, Tilston, Oscroft, Shocklach, Huxley and Broxton have no shops, poor access to Post Office services and infrequent bus services – leaving many residents isolated and reliant on cars.
