DRIVE-IN movies, theatre on the historic Rows and the return of Up The Wall are some of the highlights of a programme of activities announced this week by Chester Performs.
With something for everyone, the programme includes a film and digital media festival, an innovative event on Chester’s Rows, a writing project for young people, the return of the successful Up the Wall event in October and a spectacular finale to Cheshire’s Year of Gardens.
Project co-ordinator Amber Jones said: “This is an ambitious programme. one which we hope will appeal to both a local audience and visitors to the city.
“By putting together such a diverse programme we aim to excite audiences, enhance the city, compliment the existing calendar of events and festivals and provide a platform for talent, innovation and enthusiasm.”
Full details of the Chester Performs programme can be found in this Friday’s Chronicle.
