Mersey Forest Turst Medium Business of the Year

WINNER of the Mersey Forest Trust Medium Business of the Year award was Valsave Engineered Solutions Ltd of Middlewich.

Started 25 years ago, the company has built a strong reputation for providing intelligent, highly efficient solutions for the water, utilities, process and chemical industries.

With a specialist team of project engineers, draughtsmen, instrument technicians, electricians, fitters, fabricators and coded welders, Valsave works flexibly with clients, either on short-term projects or on large-scale, comprehensive turnkey projects.

Customers include large, blue-chip businesses such as Nalco and United Facilities and more than 20% of its turnover is generated in international markets, including Europe and the Far East.

Managing director and owner of Valsave, Steve Metcalf, first joined the company in 1990 as a mechanical fitter on the shop floor and, having spent 16 yeears working with the business, wholly acquired it in 2006.
