Cheshire West and Chester Council: Helping firms to develop and grow

THE Business Start-Up category is being sponsored by Cheshire West and Chester Council this year.

A spokesperson said: “Cheshire West and Chester Council, through its economic development team and targeted recession activity, put substantial effort into supporting and encouraging enterprise and attracting new businesses into the borough.

“We provide a free business-friendly service both for start-ups and existing business seeking to locate or invest in the borough. We have our own managed workspace offering office and workshop units and work actively in partnership with Blue Orchid the NWDA-funded start-up service and the Enterprise Coaching Programme to support new business to develop and grow.

“We offer a start-up business grant, access to events and networks and work with wider partners to support the growth of enterprise within the borough.

“Cheshire West and Chester welcomes entrepreneurial spirit, drive and innovation and is delighted to support the Business Start-Up category.”
