STAFF at a Chester travel agents climbed Mount Snowdon to raise money for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
ITC Classics, based in Canal Street, Chester, raised £1,147 which was split between Claire House ITC Giving, which works with communities in South Africa, India and Peru.
Catherine Winstanley from ITC said: “Supporting charities has always been close to our hearts and we enjoyed every minute of our first sponsored challenge and raising money for both charities. “The group are delighted and privileged to have partnered up with Claire House to help raise much needed funds.”
The team forged ahead and completed the walk in five hours and 45 minutes.
Catherine added: “It only took the team two hours to get back down due to the torrential rain and wind, but it was worth every minute!”
Abi Smith, Cheshire fundraising manager for Claire House, said: “It is great to see such local companies donating their time and fundraising efforts to Claire House.
“ITC already have their own business charity but have kindly decided to split the money between them and Claire House. We are very grateful to all who walked on behalf of ITC – what an amazing achievement!”
