FIRMS are snapping up space at one of the UK’s biggest two-day county shows after the announcement that trade stand prices have been frozen for 2012.
Trade stands for the Cheshire County Show are now available and show organisers have reported a surge in demand for spaces after a record attendance in 2011 and news that 2011 prices have been held.
Nigel Evans, executive director of the Cheshire Show, said: “These are still difficult economic times and we want to offer traders the best possible value for money.
“Our trade stand sales so far for 2012 are extremely strong and I would urge any traders thinking of coming to show to book now to make sure they get the best space possible.”
More than 700 traders ranging from agricultural suppliers and car dealerships to the finest food producers and clothing retailers came to the 2011 show which attracted 85,000 people.
Mr Evans added: “As the show’s attendances have grown in recent years so has the demand for trade spaces making our event one of the biggest of its kind in Britain. The show has an ideal countryside setting for a wide variety of businesses to meet potential customers or clients, not only from Cheshire, but also from across the UK.”
