Chester hotel ready for business boom after revamp

BUSINESS is booming at a hotel which has just revamped its state-of-the-art gym and restaurant.

Days Hotel Chester North in Sealand has just spent £16,000 installing new fitness equipment and the venue’s restaurant now boasts a new menu created by an award-winning chef.

Caroline Ratcliffe, fitness and sales manager at the hotel, said: “We’re really excited about our newly refurbished gym and have taken delivery of some fantastic equipment.

“Our new facilities are ideal for people looking to get in shape for Christmas and are open for non-residents and hotel guests alike.”

The hotel’s restaurant has also undergone a makeover and will now be known as D Restaurant.

It has been reopened with a new menu devised by head chef Shane Anthony, who was recently named Professional Chef of the Year in front of a crowd of 250 people at the Mold Food Festival last month.

Matt Knight, general manager of the hotel, said: “Shane’s preparation, imagination and presentation were of the highest quality and everyone at Days Hotel Chester North is very proud of him. This award is a fantastic coup.”

The restaurant is now offering a new £5 lunch menu that can be pre-ordered and unlimited coffee for customers.

Matt added: “Our new lunch menu and bottomless coffee is ideal for people on the move who can expect their lunch to be ready as soon as they arrive.

“We also offer free Wi-Fi for all guests and quiet meeting areas.

“Our new-look hotel has improved facilities to offer local residents, business people, guests and tourists all looking for comfort and quality in a great location at competitive prices.”
