Sainsbury’s in Chester boost Miles of Smiles charity

SAINSBURY’S in Chester have given Chronicle-backed charity Miles of Smiles a boost with a £250 community grant cheque toward their 2012 Disneyland Paris Trip.

The Sainsbury’s scheme helps local charities and is funded by the sale of Bags for Life.

Sainsbury’s recently announced plans to reduce the number of plastic single use bags they give away by 50%.

Store manager Adrian Harle said: “Our store is at the heart of the local community and it is important we do as much as we can to Šsupport it. When we heard about Miles of Smiles, we were really pleased to help.”
