Tommy’s Hair Company in Chester declared Salon of the Year

TOMMY’S Hair Company in Chester celebrated as it was announced winner of the British Salon of the Year award.

The salon received the accolade at this year’s British Hairdressing Business Awards, now in its 13th year, in London, presented by Hairdressers Journal International.

Tommy’s Hair Company competed against six other salons in the Salon of the Year award, sponsored by Clynol Salon Exclusive.

Hosted by TV personality and co-host of ITV’s Daybreak, Dan Lobb, Tommy’s was delighted when its name was announced.

Situated near the Kaleyard Gate, Tommy’s Hair Company’s combination of unique service in an urban, contemporary salon impressed the judges and won them this award for the second consecutive year.

The North Wales salon in Ruthin is a three-time previous recipient of the same award. Having two different salons wining the British Salon of the Year award on five occasions is a feat which no other salon business within the UK has achieved.

Tommy’s business director, Esther van der Veken-Prins, said: “Tommy’s Hair Company is more than just a hairdressing salon to us, and I believe that has been a key factor in our success. This award is a testimony to our belief in customer care and support of the Cheshire community.”
