A REGIONAL engineering firm is continuing its successful rise to the top by opening a new office in Chester.
Consulting engineers company Patrick Parsons Limited (PPL), which is based in Newcastle, is going from strength to strength with their civil and structural engineering design services, and already has plans to expand the team to 10 before the end of the year.
PPL was established in 1964 and continues to provide full civil and structural engineering design services to a wide range of clients and markets both nationally and internationally.
The Chester office is headed up by Chris Gooch-Butler who joined PPL at the end of 2010 having spent more than 30 years in the construction industry.
A chartered civil engineer originally from Chester, Chris has spent the majority of his career working for multi-national engineering companies both at home and abroad.
He brings with him extensive experience in both building and civil engineering sectors and has worked in challenging locations such as Tanzania, Pakistan and Middle East.
Chris is responsible for the Chester office and for creating and securing regional and national business opportunities both regionally and nationally.
Joining Chris in the new office will be Cormac Harte, principal structural engineer who has more than 10 years experience in historic, commercial and residential sectors in the UK and abroad, and Nick Murphy as director of building services.
