AN AWARD-Winning Cheshire chef is set to serve up his culinary delights at a historic wedding venue.
Rupert Frazer Worden, whose Fine Dining Company is based at Tattenhall, will be taking on the catering for Iscoyd Park in between Malpas and Whitchurch, which opened for weddings last summer.
Mr Worden, who trained under legendary chef Bruce Poole in London and this month won two top accolades at the North West Fine Food Awards, learnt his trade at various renowned establishments including Leith’s Cookery School, Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor and Bibendum, before working for the Michelin-starred Poole at Chez Bruce.
He said: “Iscoyd Park is the most impressive wedding venue I have seen and I believe that the two brands fit together perfectly,” he said.
“The brief I have been given is to supply the finest possible wedding food which is of top restaurant standard at the best value.”
The owner of Iscoyd Park, Phil Godsal, who opened the venue last year with wife Susie following a restoration programme, added: “Having a chef as talented and experienced as Rupert on board as our caterer is a real feather in our cap.”
