Chester insurance firm wins Investors in People award

A CHESTER-based insurance broker has been rewarded for its commitment to staff, winning the Investors in People Bronze Award as it prepares to expand in 2011.

Astbury Wren, has held Investors in People recognition since 2002 but decided to raise its accreditation to a higher level.

The company has gained recognition recently following its partnership with a multi-billion pound global insurance company to help provide insurance to the defence sector.

David Wren, a founder and current shareholder in the company said: “We are delighted to have achieved this additional award at the first attempt which is testimony to the efforts we put into to developing our staff and the high quality of work we produce. We have set our sights on achieving the Gold Standard in the near future.
