Lynn’s Pantry launches in Tarporley

A TARPORLEY woman found the way to her man’s heart was through his stomach and she is now hoping her customers will be won over too.

Lynn Vernon, aged 49 launched her new sandwich shop called Lynn’s Pantry on High Street in the village on Monday and hopes her tasty goodies on sale will entice customers into her shop.

Lynn is no stranger to the world of sandwich shops having worked in one for many years in Capenhurst. She actually met her husband Andy who is watch manager at Tarporley Fire Station while serving him sandwiches at a construction site in Capenhurst.

Lynn said: “People always say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and I proved it is true.

“I have lots of experience and so know what people like.

“I was really lucky to find this shop. It’s small and we have packed everything in but it is ideal for people who want to pop in and pick up their lunch.”

As well as sandwiches the shop will sell paninis, baked potatoes, salads, soup and more. Lynn is also hoping to cash in on the breakfast trade by opening at 7am.

Lynn said: “We have had a very positive start and would just encourage everybody to pop in and give us a try.”
