TV chef Richard Phillips launches his new dining experience in the city.

TV CHEF Richard Phillips says Chester residents deserve the best and that his new restaurant at Oddfellows in Lower Bridge Street will deliver.

Richard Phillips, pictured, who has made appearances on programmes such as Ready Steady Cook, ITV’s Daily Cooks Challenge and Put You Money Where Your Mouth is has put his culinary experience and expertise to the venue.

He has designed the menu, employed the new head chef Scott Mills, and brought his own chefs in from his Kent restaurants to make sure it all goes smoothly.

The restaurant will open for business tomorrow, Friday.

Richard said: “We are focusing on good local and seasonal produce.

“We have created an exquisite dining service with excellent food, atmosphere and service.

“Chester is a vibrant city which wears its history proudly while maintaining a modern outlook and it is crying out for the sophistication of the best metropolitan restaurants. That is what we are creating, because that is what the people here deserve.”

The renovation of the restaurant follows the £3.5million transformation of the building in 2008.
