Firm relocates to city

ACF Car Finance Ltd is relocating its After-sales Department from Walsall to its head office in Chester Business Park.

The company employs more than 140 people, 30% of whom are based at its operations centre on Chester Business Park.

The move has been hailed as a key strategic decision which will continue to progress new efficiencies for the company and to significantly improve customer service.

Mark Jones, divisional manager of operations and logistics at ACF Car Finance, said: “Integrating the After-sales Department with the rest of our main operations centre enables us to provide improved customer service in terms of reactive call centre resource and faster authorisation of work, in addition to superior onsite management support, training and information accessibility.”

ACF is more efficient than it has ever been, seeing record business conversions for nine consecutive months and it is looking to continue this healthy trend throughout its country-wide branch network.

Norman Beaumont, Sales and Marketing Director for ACF Car Finance, said: “With high street banks being brought to their knees, it’s no surprise that many car finance companies are struggling.”

“However, since we are able to access internal funding lines, we have been able to adapt more easily than others to the irrational market conditions.

“It’s this flexibility which is proving crucial to our customers and is reflected in our successful conversion rates.”
