IT’S tough out there – but businesses right across the county are proving just how resilient they are.
And tonight, after months of anticipation, we will be presenting our Cheshire Business Awards to the county’s finest firms during a glittering ceremony at the Chester Crowne Plaza hotel.
Our coveted trophies will be presented to companies which have shown enterprise, tenacity and a determination to succeed.
Firms of all types and sizes have been nominated for the awards which are judged in nine categories ranging from start-ups to some of the region’s most established companies.
We’ve joined forces with nine sponsors from right across the region to pay tribute to the county’s best firms and individuals.
The awards night will be hosted by TV news presenter Lucy Meacock and the guest speaker will be Deirdre Bounds, founder of the ethical travel company i-to-i.com.
Donations and any monies raised in a raffle during the evening will be donated to the Chronicle-backed charity, Miles of Smiles which arranges trips to Disneyland Paris for the region’s sick and disabled children.
