DETECTIVES investigating the suspected murder of 25 year old Victoria Roberts have arrested a 26-year-old man.
The man was arrested in the street in Wrexham town centre on Sunday, December 6, following information from the public.
The man was yesterday due to be transferred to Runcorn custody suite and is likely to be interviewed this evening, Monday, December 7.
Shortly after 9pm on Thursday, December 3, police visited a home on Partington Square, Daresbury, where they discovered the body of Victoria Roberts, aged 25.
They had been called by her father who voiced concern that she had not been in contact.
They then launched an appeal for her husband David Roberts to come forward.
Mrs Roberts - who police suspect was strangled - was in the garage of the house.
The murder investigation is being led by Cheshire police’s Major Investigation Team.
Police want to hear from anyone who has information which could help their inquiries.
