THE Cheshire Youth Choir have won a silver award at the Choir Olympics held in Austria.
The team of 48 youngsters aged between 13 and 21 travelled to Graz to compete against 36 choirs from around the world.
The choir was among three others to receive a silver award in the youth competition. They had to sing a programme of four songs to fierce panel of judges from more than 70 nations.
